Something to think about if you are looking to getting a new hat anytime soon.
From BRC

From 1st January 2023, we will no longer be accepting 2 hat standards and will therefore need to re-tag.
In order to ensure riders are wearing the most up to date riding hats and to give plenty of notice, please note that from the 1st January 2023, the following hat standards will no longer be accepted, due to the age of hats made to these standards:

1. PAS O15 1998
2. SNELL 2001
   A new colour of hat tag will be required for BE, PC and BRC from 1st January 2023.
   The more PAS 015 2011 and SNELL 2016 will continue to be accepted.
