Our show jumpers had another successful day at BCA today.
In the 70cm class, Sharon Wood and Molly jumped a very fast clear to take 2nd place out of 29 starters. Nichola Peace and Inca also jumped clear in a very competitive time for a super 6th place.
In the 80cm, Sharon had an unlucky pole to finish out of the placings. Nichola and Inca were stepping up in height and, despite a couple of poles down, they jumped a fab round to prove themselves very capable at this height (see pic).
In the 90cm, Joanne Brett and Cooter jumped a lovely round but picked up 4 faults for some miscommunication at the planks which dropped them to 8th place. They made up for it in the 100cm with a super clear to bag 4th place.
Mikey Winn and Jackson were competing in the 100cm and 105cm having pulled off a brilliant 2nd place at Aston le Walls 100cm Horse Trials yesterday. Jackson jumped 2 cracking rounds but tipped the last pole in both classes to finish 7th and 5th respectively.
Big thanks to our helper today – Lisa Dickenson for braving the heat to enable our members to compete.
