SUMMARY:BRC NAF National Champs day 2 results
DESCRIPTION:Day 2 at the BRC NAF National Champs proved to be another day of mixed fortunes. Nichola Peace and Rory took part in the Native class Prelim 2\, placing 9th with another creditable score of 63.26%.\nIn the 100cm Show Jumping\, our Team of Adele\, Mikey and Noel again showed their class\, Adele finishing with just 4 faults after 2 rounds and Mikey and Noel jumping triple clear. We ended the class in joint 1st place\, tied on points with Harewood Combined Training Group. Although Northwood had the faster time\, BRC requires all riders in both teams to jump another round to decide the overall winners. Unfortunately\, Ralf was tired after 2 days of jumping and Noel took the wise decision to pull out. So we settled for another 2nd place – a fantastic result for our small club! In the individual placings\, Mikey came 5th of of the 47 starters\, Noel 7th and Adele 12th (with the 2nd fastest time in round 2 !)\nSharon and Molly were last to go in the 80cm Show Jumping (just when the weather took a turn for the worse). Unfortunately Molly was not at her best today and finished outside the placings.

Eligibility will be taken from close of pre-entry & competitors must be a registered current member of the correct club on Sport80 by midday the Friday before the qualifier. Anyone failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified and informed by BRC HQ when the results are processed. \n\n– \n• This competition will run under BRC Rules\, anyone in attendance will be bound by the BRC Code of Conduct. It is important that all competitors are aware of the rules relating to this competition – please see the current BRC Handbook and also the BRC Rule Amendments and Changes Document which can be found at the link below: https://www.bhs.org.uk/british-riding-clubs/brc-downloads/brc-handbook/\n\n\n• All hats must have a visible current BRC/BE/PC PINKhat tag in place before they are worn on the showground\, to show that they meet the current safety standards.  There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For up to date hat rules please see the current BRC Handbook.\n• Please note that the PINK Horse-Events Hat Tags will NOT be accepted and the rider will need to get their hat tagged with one of the listed tags.\n\nBody Protectors \n• A body protector is not mandatory for this competition but can be worn.\n• Please note the BETA Level 3 2009 Purple Label is no longer accepted as a recognised standard for Body Protectors at BRC Events. It is a riders responsibility to ensure they have the correct standard of a BETA Level 3 2018 BLUE Label on their body protectors. \n• However\, riders using Exo Body Cages are allowed to wear those with a purple 200 BETA level 3 label\, but must inform the organiser of the event that they will be using an Exo Body Cage.\n\nFlu Vaccinations & Microchips \nYour horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Handbook. There is also a downloadable flu vac checking spreadsheet available to check the flu vaccination: BRC Downloads | The British Horse Society (bhs.org.uk) under ‘Competitions’. \nPLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL BE CHOOSING RANDOM TEAMS TO CHECK PASSPORTS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.  TEAM MANAGERS WILL NEED TO GET PHOTOCOPIES OF PASSPORT PAGES SHOWING HORSE NAME\, MICROCHIP\, ALL PAGES WITH FLU/TET VACCINATIONS AND EMAIL FOR CHECKING WHEN REQUESTED. \n\nEntries \nEntries for the BRC Qualifier must be done via your Team Managers – those riding in the qualifiers are ineligible to ride in the Open sections other than after they have completed all qualifier rounds. \n\nAll qualifier entrants must submit a pre-entry to BRC (fees can be found in the current BRC Handbook) at least 21 days before the date of the qualifier. Pre-entries can be made via the pre-entry website https://brc.bhs.org.uk/login?referral=%2Fselect . Late pre-entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organiser with a late surcharge of £10 per individual and £20 per team (payable to BRC HQ) if space permits.  Late entries cannot be guaranteed and so therefore must not be paid for until approval from the organiser has been gained. \nOnce the pre-entry has been made\, an area entry must be made via the details outlined on this schedule.  \nIf the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason and rescheduled within 21 days\, the close of pre-entry will remain. If the qualifier is rescheduled for more than 21 days after the original date\, entries will re-open. Late entry fees will not be refunded.  Eligibility is taken from the Friday before the qualifier\, regardless of rescheduling.
